Steps to follow in order to root xiaomi Redmi 1s android Smartphone.
1.       First, download the file update.zip to your computer and move the downloaded file on your Smartphone SD card using USB cable.
2.       Once the file is moved, disconnect your Redmi 1s phone from the usb cable and boot into Mi- recovery (to boot into Mi- recovery, launch the updater app then press the menu/options button and after that, from the menu select “reboot to recovery mode”.
3.       In the Mi- recovery select and confirm “English” language, or any language of your choice
4.       Select and confirm ‘install udate.zip to system’
5.       Once the installation is completed, then select and confirm ‘reboot’
6.       After rebooting, go to security---permission and activate root permission and you are done.

How to unroot xiaomi Redmi 1s android Smartphone.
1.       Firstly, Go to security---permission and deactivate root permission.
2.       Now download the file (unrootnative_redmi 1s.zip to your computer and move the downloaded file on your Smartphone SD card using USB cable and rename the downloaded file name from unrootnative_redmi 1s.zip to update.zip.
3.       After that, disconnect your Redmi 1s android phone from the usb cable and boot into mi-Recovery.(you can boot into mi-recovery using the steps mention above in the how to root section).
4.       In the mi-recovery, select and confirm your preferred language according to your wish.
5.       Now, select and confirm ‘install update.zip to system’.
6.       Once the installation is completed, select and confirm ‘reboot’.
